My husband reminds me ....
That our souls were joined at the alter
That holding hands is a gift
That leaning brings comfort
That our kisses are promises
That company means togetherness
That presents don't have to cost a thing
That two are better than one
That the sun is always warm on our faces
That we've planted our garden together and yes, had to pull a few weeds along the way
That when we trip and fall, we are always there to pick each other up
That we hold our heads high together
That we have learned through trials and tribulations, we can indeed endure
That we've taught our sons what a marriage should be not just through words but, by example
That simply being together is a gift from God
I look forward to another 22 years of marriage and can only imagine what God has planned for us.
