My very talented nephew Jacob became engaged at Christmas to his soon to be bride, Sheri. My sister Therese (Jake's Mom), shared with me some Jake and Sheri info and I'm sharing it with all of you. They are such a cute couple and we wish them a wonderful life together.
Sheri and Jake met in college. Jake wanted to get to know her better, so he threw himself a birthday party and invited her. They've been together ever since, about four years.
Sheri is an elementary music teacher and is getting her Master's in elementary education. Sheri also majored in vocal performance and plays the flute. Her family is Jewish and they are planning a traditional Jewish wedding.
Jacob teaches Suzuki violin, plays a variety of gigs, and performs regulary with several area orchestras.
They are planning a wedding at Brook Lodge in August 2009.
Sheri's easy-going personality fits very nicely into our family. Her family is just as nice, and they are equally supportive and loving to Jacob.
