It's Sunday Night

Friday night, Bob went to the autorama with a group of guys from way back when and I went with the boys to the Northville High School talent show. Saturday afternoon we went to a surprise party for Debi (Bob's brother Ed's girlfriend) and then met Mike & Judy for dinner at La Bistecca's in Plymouth, probably one of the best restaurants we've been to in a long time. I would highly recommend it. After dinner Mike and Judy came back to our house and Judy sent a text message to a few of our mutual friends saying "meet at the rays house, emergency". In no time, we had a mini party. Drinks, music, a few games of pool and a great night just being with friends.

Today, was our first Sunday at our new church. Last week was the official opening but we were in Ohio and didn't go. Our services have been held at the local schools but now, we have our very own building. I have to say that it just felt good to be there. I've been really struggling with any type of consistency in my life for awhile now and as much as I hate to admit it, church and my faith have been especially challenging for me. I wish I could tell you I know exactly why but I don't have any real clear answers. I do know that I'm working very hard and have a husband who this morning told me "no excuses, you are going to church". Thanks Bob. Like I said, it felt good to be there and I know that next week, it will be that much easier.
