My wonderful hubby planned a "surprise getaway" last night for the two of us. He told me we were going to dinner, Christmas Shopping, and to pack an overnight bag.
We had dinner and then headed over to the hotel at Laural Park Place. When we got there, I was pleasantly surprised that he had already checked in earlier and had a chilled bottle of Asti waiting along with a special gift and poem for me.
We shopped for a few hours and got most of our Christmas shopping done. We made a few trips back to the room to drop off all of the bags. We headed back to the room around 10:00 and made a stop at "Sweet Loraine's" restaurant in the hotel for a few limes for Bob's Corona's and a piece of chocolate mousse cake for myself.
It may have only been 17 hours but, it was one of the best 17 hours ever.

Thank you Bob, for taking such good care of my "baby" sister---Your care will always show your boys how to treat a lady. You are a fine example for them to follow.
