Our Weekend

Friday night we went to the Redwings game with Dave and Kathi and Eli and Dana. We hung out at Bob's insurance agents suite. We didn't watch much of the game, we were too busy just having a good time. Bob gets to hang out with Dave and Eli but it's not very often (if ever) that we've all gone out together as couples. It was a great night. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera so I don't have any pictures.

Saturday we made our early morning trip to Sams Club and really didn't do much of anything all day long. Chris had his buddies over to play cards so I had my usual house full of boys.

Sunday I had a very short but nice visit with Margie and Patty. We talked about maybe a sisters weekend in Chicago. My sister Fran lives in Downers Grove and my other sister Therese lives in Portage and Patty's son Matt goes to DePaul so we might go and visit him and have some sister time together. Around 4:00 we went over to Rudy and Janet's and celebrated Angie's 23rd Birthday. Rudy made a batch of Chili and we got to see Jason and Kelly. Jason shared with us that he WILL NOT have to go back to Iraq. After a 7 hour medical eval, they told him that he didn't pass. Thank God. Kelly looked good but said that she was still feeling kinda yucky. She's about 10 weeks pregnant so I reassured her that in the next few weeks she should be feeling much better.

We had to leave Angie's party early because we had tickets for the Pistons. They won and we had a lot of fun at the game. One thing about the Piston's is they have so much going on during the game it's never boring.
