Bobby's New Ride

When I look at this picture of Bobby, I have to admit that I'm somewhat surprised. My Bobby has always been on the more (much more) conservative side. He's been looking for a new car for awhile now and has been looking at the Mazda 3's or 6's. That was my first choice too for the obvious reasons. Safety being on the top. Well, the other night he was on line and came across this 2006 Ford Mustang. Of course, the first words out of my mouth were, "I heard that the Mustangs weren't great in the snow". Quickly, I was bombarded with info on their safety ratings that he had already printed out and compared with other vehicles. I called my sister in law Janet as she has a new Mustang too. She reassured me that I had nothing to worry about. Well, Bobby is now the proud owner of a Ford Mustang. Last night, it was parked in the garage because it was raining and he didn't want to get it wet just yet. Once the rain let up, he took his brother's (individually) for a ride. He even let Mike drive it. We talked about what he will do if there's an ice storm or snow storm and he's heading for Ohio for the weekend. Looks like on those days he will be driving my car and guess what, I'll be driving a Mustang.

It's a beautiful car and I truly am so happy for him. He was up early this morning getting ready for school and was just beaming. I know Bobby's taken a lot of time to research and look at all his options and even though I'm surprised at his choice, he made the right one because it was his. Congratulations Kido.
(just an update, Bobby sent me a text from school and said that his car handled well in the rain, I have to say I was worried this morning as he pulled out of the garage)!
