We're Home

We touched down in Detroit at 9:30 last night and we got home by 10:30! After five hours of frustration at Ft. Lauderdale International Airport, our plane finally departed at 6:30. It wasn't all that bad though, we met two couples one from our favorite city "Livonia" and one from Warren. The two women were sisters and they went to South Beach for a long weekend too. It made the waiting easier. They were great people. It was nice not being the only one that was worried about the plane. The men could have cared less but us women all really just wanted to get home to our kids. (Safely)!

The boys did great! From the looks of things, everything went pretty smoothly. I'm sure I'll be hearing stories here and there for the next few days and weeks but all and all it sounds like they handled themselves like real men. Thanks to Uncle Rudy and Aunt Janet who had all of them over last night for a barbecue, they said the food was great and they had a really good time. The boys of course said that Joe was a little wild but that's pretty normal for Joe.

Bob and I were trying to come up with one word that would describe our weekend and Bob came up with "Amazing". I would have to agree.
