Lastest Update

The french doors that will replace the windows, should be in sometime in the next two weeks. As soon as they arrive, we can tackle the job of cutting into the concrete basement (very messy) and then the masonry guys can finish the brick. Thankfully, someone had the bright idea seven some years ago to order an extra skid of brick just in case. If my memory serves me correct, it wasn't meant for this particular job though, I remember Bob saying something like You know in a few years, we are going to have teenager drivers and they might run into the garage and we will need to replace some of the bricks. The funny thing about this is that the boys have yet to run into the garage but just two weeks ago, Bob did.

So what happens when it rains? Will this hole become a giant pond for Joe to swim in?

I've been told that we have underground drainage. Even after all the rain the last few days, there was no water in the hole. That's a very good thing.
