Piston's Game
Last night we went with Rudy & Janet to the Piston's Game. We had a great time in spite of the Pistons losing after double overtime. We got home pretty late for a school night somewhere around 12:30 and Chris was still up waiting for us to move Joe who was asleep in his bed. (Thanks, Chris) Rudy & Janet probably didn't get home until 1:00ish and Rudy had to be at work at 4:00 a.m. How are you feeling today Rudy? I know we would have all thought it was worth it if they had just won. I just know that they better get their act together for Saturday. It was funny, Janet and I were plotting how they should do La Bron James in. It would definitely make it easier for the Pistons. There were so many bad calls last night and as usual, La Bron is untouchable no matter what he does. I look at it this way, McDyess got kicked out of the game for some move he put on La Bron, he should of just broken La Bron's pinky finger or something. Chauncey wasn't playing his best last night, if he doesn't step up and do a better job tomorrow, I might just have to divorce him. I have only been to probably three Piston's games this year and they've lost all of them. Maybe I should stay home next home game.
Rudy and Janet bought Joanne, Janet and myself "Detroit Girls" t-shirts a few weeks ago and Janet and I wore ours proudly! We are truly the "real" Detroit Girls from way back when!
Ok, I was just corrected by my sports director, Christopher Rays. Apparently, it WAS NOT La Bron that McDyess took down, it was the guy that looks like he has a bunch of springs in his head. According to Chris, it was a bad call and didn't merit getting kicked out. Another interesting fact that I didn't know was that they did a study on white Referees making really bad calls on teams with more black players than white ones. Janet and I did a count last night and the Cavaliers had at any given time, three more white guys playing than we did. Actually, the only white guy playing for the Piston's last night was Delfino and I'm not sure he really counts. We need more black referees at Saturdays game, maybe that will help.
