Home Depot laughs

On Sunday, I ran up to our local Home Depot for more supplies for the bar that Bob is building in the Cabana. While in the tile isle, there was a couple with two boys looking at tile. The wife says to the husband, "after we are done here, I want to go to the garden department and pick up some flowers" The husband then says, "are you going to water them?" What came out of the wives mouth after that was great. She says "No John, I am going to put them on the front porch and just watch them die". She was so calm and just matter of fact about his apparent sarcastic questions, I loved it. She just walked away with him left speechless. I'm standing there, with this smile on my face, just knowing and relating to similar comments out of my own hubby. I just love how she was totally calm and put it right back in his face. He was left in the tile isle with these two kids looking like a complete jerk. I think the smile on my face didn't leave me until I came home and shared it with Bob and the boys. I did realize how so many of these guys are so much alike. It's pretty scary.
