Judi Update

This is the latest update on Judi, please if everyone who reads this in the days to come, if you could just take a moment and say a prayer for her and her family. We know that the prayers work let just keep them coming! THANK YOU

It's been a rough week. Another one behind us.---- Judi is having a very frustrating time trying to eat & drink. The first issue is that she has no appetite; then on top of that she is still having a problem swallowing. We have tried just about everything that might sound appealing. She had some success with a waffle yesterday, and some jello, but the baked potato, ham & sweet potato just didn't make it. The doctor on Wednesday gave her a new pain medicine on a patch that she changes every 3 days (fentanyl). She is using that & supplementing with the morphine-------yes----the doctor has approved that. Judi slept good last night & got up around 9:00 this morning; she had a small bowl of cherrio's & drank a jug of ensure & she is working on a bottle of water. If we don't have a mass improvement today, I'll call the doctor and ask for suggestions. We see the thoracic oncologist on Wednesday & we hope to be in a more stable mode then.
