Some Good News!

I talked to Judi tonight and she got a call from her doctor regarding her pet scan that she had at UM this morning. The good news is the spots on her liver and spleen ARE NOT malignant. (Praise God). This means that the lung cancer has not metastized. The reality is they are still dealing with stage 3 lung cancer. As devastating as that sounds, Judi is strong and otherwise healthy and very determined to fight this nasty cancer. She can do it! Judi and I talked about my mom tonight and for those of you who didn't know her, to say that she was the most faithful believer, wouldn't even begin to describe her. Our mom prayed constantly. She sustained us all with her prayers. When she passed away, I found boxes of her prayers. She would type her prayers out and print them. It was so cool to find them after she passed away. The power of prayer still amazes me, even after so many of my prayers have been and continue to be answered. I'm still in awe. I know that our prayers will be answered for Judi. She has so many people praying for her here on Earth and in Heaven. We thank God tonight for some good news and we ask him to continue working his miracles and heal Judi and give her and her family the peace they so deserve. KEEP PRAYING!
