Sarah's Family

Sarah's mom and dad and sister Melissa stayed with us and celebrated Thanksgiving with our family this year. We had a great couple of days and they seemed to have survived our chaotic household. They are wonderful and we are blessed to have had Sarah and her family share Thanksgiving with us. They were the best house guest anyone could ask for. As many of you know, Sarah and her family are from Ohio. Bobby and Sarah have been dating each other for over two years now and have managed to maintain a great long distance relationship.(they met at church camp Bobby's junior year in High School). I will always remember driving half way to Ohio and meeting her parents and her for dinner and then bringing her back to Michigan for the weekend. It was over two years ago, but the memory is still so vivid. What a tremendous leap of faith her family took, handing their daughter over to us for the weekend. Because we loved Sarah from the beginning and they loved Bobby we all made the necessary adjustments to help them to see each other as often as possible. On any given weekend, Bobby is either in Ohio or Sarah is here in Michigan. I do need to say that they both now travel back and forth on their own.

Thanks so much Rick, Brenda, Melissa and Sarah for a wonderful couple of days. We loved having you here and are so thankful for your family.

Needless to say, Bobby is still a Wolverine Fan and Sarah a Buckeye Fan, they both say that will never change. We will see about that!
