My sister Patty turns 50 on November 16th. Her husband Mike orchestrated a surprise birthday party for her last night. With a little help from Bob and I we were able to surprise her. Now, you need to know that my sister HATES her birthday. It didn't matter if she was 5 years old or 50 years old she always has pouted on her birthday (sorry Patty). It's not so much the age thing, she just has never liked having a birthday. (I've always told her the alternative isn't much better). Anyway, as you can see from the pictures from last night, we have cured her of her birthday ailment. Surrounded by all five of her boys(yes, we both have five boys each) and family and friends, she really seemed to enjoy herself. It was a great night.
You'll have to wait until the 16th to read my official birthday blog for my best friend and sister, Patty!
