I've known Christina since she was two years old. Our families lived next door to each other for 10 years in Livonia. Even after we moved, we continue to see her on a regular basis. Mike and Christina are close in age and pretty much grew up together. When they were two years old, they would fight like cats and dogs. She would bite him and he would pull her hair until it fell out. But, they did everything together. Everything from roller blading to sledding to making their First Holy Communion together. Oh yea, they both in the same week backed our cars out of the driveway at 3 years old. (true story) Mike was the first and a few days later Christina had to do the same thing. They both still talk to each other almost everyday and they both know that if they need anything they can count on each other.
I was honored to be her sponsor for her Confirmation. Christina will call me or just come over to visit with me and the boys. We can talk and laugh and sometimes share a few tears. She knows this is her second home whenever she needs it to be. I've watched her grow to such a beautiful, intelligent and sweet and kind young woman. Funny story, she and Mike have an agreement that they will marry each other if they're not married to someone else by the time they turn 30. God help them if that happens.
Christina, you know how much you are loved by all of us and I can't believe that I'm actually looking at your beautiful Senior Pictures. Congratulations Honey!
