VERSES

I'm always trying to find new ways to connect with the Bible, I don't always find it easy to sit down and read it but I do think this is helpful for me. Growing up the Bible verse that always stuck in my head was one that my Mom would quote and I never liked it and thought it was pretty dark and depressing was:

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. - Psalm 23:4

She must have found comfort in that verse and as I get older and wiser, I begin to understand where my mom was during that time of her life.

Yes Rudy, that is true and unfortunately that's also one that I use more than I like to admit! "The apple doesn't fall that far from the tree"
