Soaring Eagle

Bob and I along with Mike and Nicole Storm went overnight to the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort. We got our kids off to school yesterday morning and off we went. We had such a great time just hanging out, gambling and having some much needed rest from the kids. Around 4:00 Nicole and I were both on our cell phones making sure our kids were all in order and where they were supposed to be and getting all the news from their day at school but once that was done, we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. Bob and I did pretty good on the slots, I think after the cost of our room and food, we came home with somewhere around 200.00. Not to bad. I have to thank all my boys for doing such a wonderful job while we were gone, I came home to a clean house and everyone accounted for. Not to bad for five boys home for 24 hours alone. (for all of you who are gasping at thinking of five kids home alone, remember, Bobby is 19 years old and Mike is 17 and they are very capable.) I am so proud of all of them. Thanks guys for giving us the opportunity to have a little Mom and Dad time.
