Dave's Mom

This past weekend a good friend of our family Dave Kurt's mom passed away. She was 62 years old and battled cancer for 11 long months. We would read Dave's blog everyday getting updates and praying for his Mom and his family. On Friday his mom peacefully passed away with her husband and kids by her side. I never had the honor of meeting her, but it simply amazes me how much I know about Lynn Kurt just by reading Dave's blog. Dave has a tremendous gift of expressing himself in writing and speaking. What better way to use this gift than to honor his mom. Her passion to protect the unborn touches me so deeply. Her true and loving devotion to her children and her 10 grandkids shows a woman of devotion to God and to her family, friends and even strangers. I know how deeply she will be missed by all the lives she's touched, but I also know that she will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends until they are all reunited in Heaven one day. Please remember Dave's family and friends in your prayers for the days, weeks and months to come. This is a difficult time but they will not be alone.
