Close Call!

Well, last night I was in Joe's room and thought I smelled something burning. I asked Bobby and Sarah who were in the greatroom if they smelled it and Bobby said he thought someone was having a fire outside. After investigating further, I determined that it was my dryer. Our laundry room is on the 2nd floor and apparently, our venting system isn't properly vented. A fire never started thankfully but all the clothes in the dryer smell pretty bad. Unfortunately, Bob is up north this weekend so I had to handle it myself. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep last night worrying about a fire starting with a house full of kids. I spent the evening cleaning out my laundry room (for those of you who know me, you know what my laundry room usually looks like). My other concern was if I had to call the fire department they wouldn't be able to reach the dryer because of all the clothes on the floor. Well, my laundry room is empty now and when Bob gets home he's going to have to investigate and figure out what needs to be done. Welcome Home Honey!
