Let down Monday

Well, after a very busy weekend, I was looking forward to not having anything that absolutely had to be done today. It didn't work out quite that way. I did get a shower and makeup on and hung out with Billy who stayed home from school because his allergies were bothering him so much. Got caught up on some of Mike and Chris' favorite shirts that need "special" laundry care. I've come to the conclusion (which I really already knew) that I am much better off being very busy and having a "routine" (I hate that word) to follow. Not only do I have Bob asking what I did all day, now the boys come in from school and ask the same thing. Tonight, I took Joe grocery shopping with me got home at 8:00 the boys brought all the groceries in and I just put away all the frozen foods and left the rest all over the counters. When Bob gets home later tonight, he's going to walk in to a kitchen with groceries all over. I guess they will have to wait till the morning. It's 9:30 Joe is sleeping and all the boys are either finishing homework or watching the Jacksonville game. Bob is once again out with his buddies at a concert and I feel as if I didn't accomplish as much as I thought I could have today. I guess tomorrow I'll make a list of "things to do" and try to stick to it. Who knows, maybe I'll add to the list to read a book or get my nails done. Maybe I should start making a list of things that "I did do" and leave that on the refrigerator!
